Just Out of the Blue

You'll never guess! (Stop peeking at the pictures!) lol
We got snow Sunday night!! Of course, it was only a skiff and hardly lasted the night, but it was snow! It was quite out of the blue.... last week was pretty warm and then Sunday was cooler, but this week is back even warmer than last. It's currently in the 60s and supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow! I don't know how we got such a brief cold snap a little snow in the middle of all this warm weather, but it happened.

These pictures are a little dark cause they were taken at 6 a.m. We were leaving for a family get-together at my uncle's.

Aunt Jeryl, Gram, and Aunt Jane

There was quite a crowd at Uncle Tom's on Monday! I think the total was 21 or somewhere around there. Melinda and Andrew were able to come, but Nathan couldn't cause he had to work.

I know I've got a ton of pics on here, sorry.....=)

The guys enjoyed showing off all their guns.....
Cousin Micah was proud of his little 22 rifle!

Uncle Tom, Pap, and Joshua (Aunt Jeryl's brother)

Uncle Tim and Andrew
Dad fixed their dryer..... he always has to be doing something!!

Daniel and Micah

Caleb, Abby, Jaala, Bethany, and Andrew playing games

Gram and Pap

Lunch was delicious!!! But there were way too many desserts! =)

They had more snow than we got! The kids had fun sledding down the hill, and of course, SNOWBALL FIGHTS!!! (I miss them!)

Then we had a "Chinese Christmas". (No, none of us are Chinese!) Everybody brings a gift, then each of us gets a number. Whoever has number one picks a gift and opens it. (It's hilarious when an adult gets a gift obviously for a kid!) Then number two either picks a gift to open or steals number one's gift, who then has to open a different gift. Then number three can steal number one or number two's gift or pick a different one to open, and so on.

Uncle Tom got Tylenol, bandages, and muscle rub! =)

Dad got a doggy soap dispenser!!

Gram gave Andrew this poka dotted shirt   =)..... don't you love Melinda's expression?!

It fits!! Yay?

Pap and I

And, of course, we had to get pictures of all the family! (We do this every year!) lol

You are sixteen, going on seventeen.....

Yesterday was my (Hannah's) birthday, and this year we combined it with the annual Donut Day!

Sunday night I had a sleep-over with several friends. We stayed up way past the time decent folk go to bed, but I only turn sixteen once, right? =)

I opened my gifts Sunday night. Mom, Dad, and Nathan bought me a camera!! I was soooooo surprised and delighted! Bethany gave me a travel mug, and Daniel (bless his heart!) made me a little plaque with my initials on it!
I had to do a "treasure hunt" to find Daniel's gift! He had wrote all the notes, and all but told me where to find them! =)

On Monday, many of the ladies and kids from church came over to make donuts! That is, the ladies came to make donuts...... we kids went outside and played football, soccer, capture-the-flag, and so on. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful!

The ladies were hard at work.......

We helped a little.....

.....and the little ones helped!

They made over 300 donuts, which were carefully taste-tested by all of us kids, of course, and then distributed to all the families.
