Hello to my readers!! It's a very long time my last post and so much has happened.

Since it's been six months, y'all probably don't remember the short mention I made of a wedding at our church set for March 24. Well, we got 'em married! :'D

So many things went wrong that day, but it all eventually came together and ran smoothly.
The wedding was beautiful. 

 Melinda was the wedding coordinator, and she and I also did all of the decorating with some help from the bridal party and the families.

We decorated the church Friday morning.
Nathan built the arch for us.




Unfortunately, we weren't able to get into the reception venue until Saturday morning. We had seen it once before, but we weren't allowed to decorate until the morning of the wedding. So if anything went too terribly wrong, we were stuck.
















We wrapped Christmas lights in tulle to hang on the railings outside to get the look you see on the left.
We also used lights on the mantles.


This venue was really pretty. Wood walls and flooring and a huge stone fireplace at each end of the room.

Since I was the only person available at the time, I was asked to put the veil in Amber's hair. Talk about nerve-racking. I thought for sure I was going to mess up her hair.

{Reception}





Amber decided to do sparklers instead of birdseed or bubbles.

You should be able to tell in the left picture that it's snowing. In March. In North Carolina. Yes, that's weird.
It had been raining that afternoon {started right after they got their outside pictures done} and had really cooled off, but none of us were expecting snow. It was pretty though.



Overall, it was a beautiful wedding, and I had fun in the midst of the chaotic frenzy. :P
