Let It Snow

Over the past week we have had a couple minor "snowstorms". The ice inhibited some travel and public schools and colleges were closed most of the week. But the main roads were plowed and fine to drive on. The snow never lasted very long since eventually it warmed up (Sunday hit almost 60 degrees) and melted everything into muddy wetness.

Daniel was, of course, elated over any little bit of snow we got. He spent every moment he could outside playing and sledding... on our pitiful little hill... with this pitiful amount of snow... He would have loved our sledding in Maine... now those were the good 'ole days... :D

Last night the "big" snowstorm hit, and by morning we had about six inches.

Now this was worth getting out and playing in ...  This snow was wet and great for packing and making snowballs!

So pretty!!

We had a blast having snowball fights, and building snowmen and forts.

Our attempt at a snow fort; it's kinda difficult when you only
have six inches

Attention!

Attack!!!!

The cowboy snowman =)

  4. Snow is so much fun! That's surprising you got so much, but probably nice after having so many bare winters :)
