Not Spoiled, Just Loved!

We have greatly enjoyed our stay here at Gram and Pap Maurer's. Mom says we're getting spoiled, but we tell her that we're just loved! =) We get way too many sweets and watch way too many movies, mostly westerns! (But I'm not complaining!)  =)
Monday evening Gram and Pap took us all bowling. We all had a lot of fun! It was little Andrew's first time ever to bowl, and he loved it! Every time his ball hit the pins he would clap his hands and say, "Yay!" He was quite amusing! Gram, Beth, Daniel, and Andrew had a lane with bumpers, and Pap, Uncle Tim, Aunt Jane, Mom, and I had a lane without.

Mom accidentally went when it was Pap's turn.... we enjoyed teasing her, and Aunt Jane "had to explain to her big sister" how bowling was supposed to work! =)

Sometimes things went great....

And sometimes not so great! (Don't you love the face?)

Tuesday was shopping day! Pap and Uncle Tim were kind enough to keep the two little boys for us. (And they were still in one piece when we got back!) lol

We played many games, Dutch Blitz probably being the favorite! (And I just realized that I didn't get a pic of us playing that! Oh, well!)

Gram is the best chiropractor in PA! (Considering the fact that she doesn't charge!)  =)

The boys loved to be outside even though it was cold and there was NO SNOW! =( (sniff, sniff)

Pap's hat was a little too big for Andrew....

Pap and Daniel walked up the hill to look for deer and coyote tracks and signs

We have to leave tomorrow, but we can't wait till we can come back!

Christmas a Day Early

I know today isn't officially Christmas, but we can pretend it is. Tomorrow afternoon we are going to visit with Dad's family, so today we had Christmas with Mom's family. Aunt Jane, Uncle Time, and their little Andrew are here, but Uncle Tom's crew wasn't able to come.
Pap read the Christmas story and prayed, then Nate played the guitar and we sang some songs.
We then proceeded to open our gifts.....

Grandma is famous for packing lots of things in our boxes!

Twelve

Today was Bethany's 12th birthday. (Boy, has she grown up fast!) She requested stromboli and peanut butter pie for her birthday meal.

Our Beautiful Bethany!
Mom and Dad got her a pink cap-gun and holster for when she and Daniel play "cowboy" =)
